Postcards from ILAC

Today was a great day.

At times, it was tense because technology makes everyone crazy. At times, we laughed and sang to pop tunes on the gringo bus radio. At times, we were moved by the courage and strength of the people we interviewed.  At times, we reflected on what we had seen and felt and experienced.

The project we’ve taken on is big, perhaps bigger than we had anticipated. But after listening to the people we talked to today, I am even more convinced this is a story that needs to be told. I am so glad we are doing it.

I’ve included a selection of photos from the ILAC mission and some of the people.
